2. Membership : Membership on the Standing Committees shall be open to any member's desire to join a Standing Committee for that year promptly after the annual meeting, and the President shall the forward that member's name to the Chairman of the respective committee. Those who are members of a Standing Committee shall remain members of that committee until the President is notified by the Committee Chairman.
3. Chairmen : The chairmen of the Standing Committee are appointed by the President, with approval of the Board of Directors, as soon as possible after the Annual Meeting, and they shall then serve until the next Annual meeting of the Association or until their successors are chosen.
4. Communications Committee : It shall be the purpose of the Communications Committee to encourage membership development, to establish means of communication among members and between the Association and its members, to provide all official publications of the Association to the members in furtherance of the Association's purpose, and to provide a directory and/or list of members.
5 . Program Committee : It shall be the purpose of the program Committee to plan and provide programs in connection with Association meetings and Leadership Roane County.
6 . Community Involvement Committee : It shall be the purpose of the Community Involvement Committee to provide ways in which Association members can effectively utilize their interests and talents for the betterment of the community.
